My Healthy Chipotle Order

Most people think having a vegan diet is limiting. In reality, it’s quite the opposite. I eat so many amazing foods that nourish my body and make me feel my best; there is nothing restrictive about that! After being vegan for almost three years, I have perfected the art of ordering vegan at Chipotle. This delicacy is perfect for lunch and fills and powers me up for the rest of the day. I prefer getting the Burrito Bowl, but I am not opposed to getting the Soft Tacos or the Salad.

After a wait in the infamous Chipotle queue, I tell the wonderful burrito artist at the front that I would like a Veggie Burrito Bowl with:

  • White or brown rice (either works!)
  • Black beans
  • Veggies, of course!
  • Pico de gallo
  • Corn salsa
  • Guacamole (it’s free when you don’t get meat!)
  • Lettuce (optional)
  • Tortilla on the side (My favorite Chipotle hack: it’s free!)
  • Drizzle on some of the Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce
